  New Zealand Skilled Migrant

You may be eligible to emigrate to New Zealand if you have:

  • A recognised qualification (C&G I & II, BTec, HND, BA, MA, PHD)
  • At least 2 years work experience related to your qualification
  • Be under 56 years old
  • You may also need a job offer worth 50 points.

The pass mark under the new criteria was established at the start of 2004. You may also be able to emigrate to NZ if you have years of experience in your field.
Depending on your situation, you may be able to get a work permit in NZ for 2 years, and then apply for permanent residency.

Business Visa

If you have been self employed or been at a senior management level, you may be able to get a Long Term Business Visa. With this you can set up a business in NZ and when you can show it is successful over a minimum of 2 years, you can then become a Permanent Residence. There is no age limit on this visa.

If you have lots of money (minimum NZ$1,000,000), prove how you got it and how long it took you, you could get Permanent residency. You would have to invest that money in a legitimate NZ investment.

Do you still want to go to NZ?

If you do not have qualifications but have been in a skilled trade for 10 yrs+, you may still be able to get to NZ. Fill in the Confidential Assessment Form and send it off to us. If you can, we will then let you know the route you will need to follow to migrate to NZ.
